Job Description Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company (LM Aero) in Palmdale, CA, is seeking a Security Representative Sr. to join the Security & Emergency Services (SES) organization, reporting directly to Security Manager Tyler Olsen. The candidate selected will be formally appointed by the Contractor Activity Monitor as the Special Access Program Accountability Officer (SAP?AO) for the Dynamic Targeting & Surveillance Systems portfolio. In this role, the SAP?AO provides comprehensive administrative support for all Top?Secret accountability processes, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Responsibilities include: overseeing the secure handling, storage, and destruction of classified material, which may require travel to remote or field locations to supervise the destruction of sensitive items. The Security Representative will also serve as the lead Document and Media Control Custodian for the program, managing the end?to?end media and document control classified material. This includes establishing and enforcing procedures for the receipt, tracking, distribution, and disposition of classified documents and media, conducting periodic audits, and maintaining accurate accountability records. The role demands close coordination with program managers, the Contractor SAP Security Officers, and other security personnel to sustain inspection readiness and address any emerging security concerns. The candidate may be required to support additional duties to ensure inspection readiness. The successful applicant will exhibit a high degree of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently while maintaining alignment with broader SES objectives. Basic Qualifications Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential. A current Top?Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain and maintain SAP access is required. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $69,900 - $123,280. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
