Description SUMMARY: Meals on Wheels San Diego County is seeking
a Database and Stewardship Manager to join our External Affairs
team’s fundraising efforts, allowing us to achieve our mission of
empowering seniors and disabled veterans to remain independent by
nourishing their bodies, minds, and spirits. This role is vital to
our fundraising activities and will be responsible for maintaining
our donor database and outreach to donors through calls and other
messaging. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Enter all donations/gifts
into donor relationship management database (DRM). Coordinate
personalized thank-you letters, phone calls, and recognition
efforts to acknowledge contributions promptly. Ensure accurate
tracking and reporting of donor information, including contact
details, donation history, and interactions, in the organization’s
DRM system. Generate donor reports, identifying patterns and
opportunities for increased engagement or gift renewal. Assist with
planning and executing donor appreciation events, facility tours,
and special events aimed at stewarding existing donors. Support
development campaigns by preparing materials, coordinating
mailings, and managing donor lists. Prepare and distribute impact
reports, newsletters, and other materials to communicate the
outcomes of donor contributions. Develop and maintain a donor
recognition plan that includes listing donors in annual reports,
naming opportunities, and other recognition activities. Establish a
process for milestone recognition (e.g., donor anniversaries,
legacy gifts, birthdays, and major gift achievements). Track donor
retention rates, developing strategies to increase donor loyalty
and recurring contributions. Participate in team meetings to ensure
stewardship practices are well-coordinated with marketing,
development, and program activities. Organize and prioritize tasks,
improving processes as necessary. Assess current database
utilization and help develop effective policies and procedures.

complete without both. QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will
have the following: High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) required,
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft
Office (Office 365 preferred) and Raiser’s Edge. Ability to manage
confidential information and multiple priorities with attention to
detail. Strong problem-solving and time management skills, with a
commitment to accuracy and database integrity. Excellent
communication and organizational skills, able to work independently
and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration across departments.
Available to work some evenings and weekends as required. This is a
100% in-office position REQUIREMENTS: Standard office environment.

California driver’s license. Physical requirements include
standing, sitting, typing, bending, and lifting to approximately 35
lbs. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Must have
