Job Description Social Media Coordinator is responsible for providing efficient and exceptional service to a wide variety of individuals on a daily basis including; Guest, Soboba Casino Resort Leadership and Team Members. A key responsibility of this position is to create and develop dynamic social media content with text, image and video to enhance the brand of Soboba Casino Resort across all social media channels. Individuals in this role must strictly adhere to the company's standards and procedures in order to deliver a consistent guest experience (both external and internal) across the brand and to lead by example. Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist the Digital Marketing Manager with project management and post scheduling for paid social ad initiatives and deadline facilitation with creative teams for custom social media content.
  • Develop dynamic Social Media content with text, imagery and video.
  • Identify new media opportunities and connect with social media influencers.
  • Monitor site metrics, respond to reader comments and assist with creative design.
  • Assist in planning and management of social media and website calendar.
  • Assist in the daily management and optimization with content creation to post across all social media channels.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with Department Leaders to successfully anticipate social media needs.
  • Provide feedback to all departments based on social media interactions.
  • Monitor and communicate guest concerns and communicate them accordingly to the departments responsible and facilitate proper follow-up and satisfactory resolution.
  • Must possess solid organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously prioritize multiple priorities and/or projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Requires regular contact with other departments, supplying or seeking information on specialized matters.
  • Monitor Soboba Casino Resort's online presence through reviews, comments, posts and messages across all platforms.
  • Utilize guest facing interaction platforms to address guest concerns.
  • Support all areas of Marketing (Promotions, Entertainment, Events, etc.).
  • Remain flexible and willing to work in other areas of Marketing.
  • Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested. Performance Requirements

    • Participate in open communication and provide feedback to management regarding operations, staffing, personal development, and operational productivity.
    • Serve as a contributing Team Member of the Soboba Band of LuiseƱo Indians enhancing the Casino's operations in all its business endeavors.Education / Qualifications
      • Must be 21 years of age, or older.
      • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
      • Two (2) year or four (4) year degree in social media marketing or, related field (training, education, marketing, business) highly desirable.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including editing (video, photo and text) in order to promote a positive and professional image.
      • Advanced computer literacy skills, required including demonstrable social networking experience and social media analytical tools knowledge.
      • Working knowledge of and expertise in the operation of general office equipment including personal computer and computer software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook, telephone, photocopy machine, fax machine, etc. is required.
      • Prior human resources knowledge and experience a plus.
      • Must be able to work a flexible schedule for a 24/7 operation, including weekends, holidays.
      • Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America. Certificates, licenses and registration
        • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
        • Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
