Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position is available within a K-12 school setting in Wilmington, DE, supporting an Autism Program. This contract role is scheduled from ASAP through June 12, 2026, working 37.5 hours per week with hours from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM EST. The primary responsibility is to provide school-based behavioral support for elementary students in a general education classroom, specifically addressing aggressive behaviors. The role also involves assisting with life-skills development, including self-care and toileting support, requiring a candidate who is comfortable and experienced in these duties. Key Qualifications: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required, or previous certification with the ability to provide proof. Demonstrated school-based experience working with students exhibiting aggressive behaviors. Ability to support students with self-care, including toileting and bathroom assistance. Reliable transportation and availability to work the specified full-time hours. Willingness to complete fingerprinting requirements promptly. Responsibilities Include: Implement behavior intervention plans under supervision. Monitor and document student progress related to behavioral goals. Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote positive behavioral outcomes. Provide assistance with life skills and personal care as needed.
