We are a small, family-owned business seeking passionate individuals ready to grow with us. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects. Responsibilities Conduct nuclear compaction testing. Perform various tasks during rough and post-grading. Execute moisture and density testing. Collect detailed field notes. Provide safety and construction oversight to subcontractors. Conduct environmental sampling. Essential Skills Proficiency in geotechnical and nuclear gauge operations. Experience in soils testing and soil compaction. Strong working knowledge of moisture and density testing. Nuclear Certification is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Intermediate to high-level experience preferred. Willingness to learn and adapt. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a small family-owned business with 30-35 employees where everyone is cross-trained and wears multiple hats. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6 AM to approximately 3, 4, or 5 PM. Employees enjoy a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth into supervisory or management roles. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of YORBA LINDA, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
