ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES As a Lab staff member providing support expertise you will be responsible for providing excellence in patient care and customer service by sharing your talent in your chosen field. Staff will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the SWHS Core Values and the hospitals mission statement. Basic phlebotomy skills with certificate.
Ability to complete the duties and responsibilities of this position accurately and efficiently regardless of the pressures of the environment.
Sufficient technical knowledge and skills to support the needs of the organization.
Verbal and written communication skills to support the efficient and effective transfer of data/information.
In order to demonstrate competency in serving Women's Services adult, Acute Care adult, and Critical Care adult patients, the employee must demonstrate the skills/knowledge/resources of Laboratory Services age and patient population specific learning module.
