Psychiatrist needed in Menifee, California25 miles to Riverside, CA20 miles to Temecula, CAFull TimePermanentSpanish speaking candidates preferredGroup is a private, non-profit 501(C) (3) health organization, Group serves over 350k medical, dental, and behavioral health visits from more than 77k people annually. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESProvide psychiatric evaluation, diagnostic assessment, medication management, psycho-education, and follow-up.Provide Health and Behavioral services.Provide Medication Assisted Treatment to patients.Provide personal information to and participate in the credentialing process with managed care companies.Participate in case conferences, departmental or agency meetings as required by supervisor.Function at highest level according to credentials and competency.Positively impact patient experience by demonstrating values of Transforming Care including, but not limited to, courteous and helpful behavior and a commitment to accuracy.Share accountability for overall patient health outcomes, working in coordination with Care Teams.Operate to instill confidence in our care and in our facilities to patients, fellow employees, and other stakeholders.Other duties as assigned. SAFETYMaintain privacy of all patient, employee and volunteer information and access such information only on a need to know basis for business purposes.Comply with all regulations regarding corporate integrity and security obligations. Report all behaviors and/or activities that are unethical, fraudulent, or unlawful.RequirementsSkills: Must have valid CA Physician license, valid DEA and CPR certification. Must have valid DEA Medication Assisted Treatment waiver to prescribe buprenorphine. Ability to work well with other team members. Good written and oral communication skills. Legible handwriting and computer literacy, but familiarity with one or more word processing, spreadsheet or electronic medical records systems. Excellent customer service skills. Bilingual Spanish/English speakers preferred. Education: Graduation from a psychiatry residency. Experience: The minimum training hours required to graduate from an approved psychiatry residency. Candidate must be fully vaccinated against the Covid19 virus and demonstrate proof of that vaccine upon hire, unless employee is approved for a disability or religious accommodation.
