About The Position A Multi-Specialty Clinic in California is seeking a Physician Assistant specializing in Pediatrics for a 120-day locum tenens assignment starting 08/11/2025. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, providing comprehensive pediatric care. This role involves managing common childhood illnesses, conducting well-child exams, and potentially addressing pediatric psychiatric concerns. Experience with children's psychiatric practices is highly preferred. The position requires proficiency in Epic EMR and a current California license. The PA will be responsible for providing primary care, referring to specialists when necessary, and may have the opportunity for assignment extension. Job Details: Location: California Facility Type: Multi-Specialty Clinic Start Date: 08/11/2025 LOA: 120 days Provider Type Needed: Physician Assistant (Pediatrics) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Responsibilities and Duties: • Provide primary care for pediatric patients, addressing common issues such as colds, coughs, flu, aches, and pains • Conduct well-child exams and developmental screenings • Manage and treat various pediatric conditions • Potentially address children's psychiatric concerns (experience preferred) • Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and management • Collaborate with specialists and refer patients as needed • Adhere to clinic protocols and maintain high standards of patient care • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Additional Information: • California license required • Possibility of assignment extension • No procedures required; focus on primary care and referrals to specialists as needed • Open to four-day work week • Experience with children's psychiatric practices highly preferred Apply now to learn more!
