seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist Assistant
to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist licensed
speech-language pathologists in the treatment of patients with
communication and swallowing disorders. This position offers a
unique opportunity to contribute to the development and
implementation of therapeutic interventions that enhance patient
outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Implement individualized treatment
plans as directed by the supervising speech-language pathologist.
Provide direct patient care, including conducting therapy sessions.
Monitor patient progress and document outcomes as required.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support patient
care. Educate patients and their families on communication
strategies and therapy exercises. Maintain accurate records and
comply with all regulatory and ethical standards. Participate in
team meetings, training, and professional development activities.
Qualifications: Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a
related field. Current certification or licensure as a Speech
Pathologist Assistant Strong understanding of speech and language
development and disorders. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a
multidisciplinary team environment. Compassionate and
patient-focused approach to care. Previous experience in a in-home
setting is a plus but not required. Working Conditions: Clients

Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech,
language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions using
standardized tools and clinical observations. Develop
individualized treatment plans aligned with each client’s needs and
goals, including strategies for early intervention when
appropriate. Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve
speech clarity, language comprehension, social communication
skills, and swallowing safety. Collaborate closely with educators,
healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to coordinate
care plans and ensure consistency across environments. Maintain
detailed documentation of assessments, treatment progress notes,
and therapy outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client
progress and adapt intervention strategies as needed. Educate
clients and their families about communication disorders and
provide guidance on exercises or activities to support ongoing
improvement at home or school. Assist in the development and review
of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring
specialized support. Experience Proven experience working with
children in pediatric settings such as schools or early
intervention programs. Hands-on experience providing speech therapy
in acute care hospitals or similar healthcare environments is
highly desirable. Familiarity with school-based services and
understanding of IEP processes is essential for success in this
role. Knowledge of physiology related to speech production and
swallowing functions is required to accurately assess and treat
clients. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and
physiology relevant to communication disorders enhances your
ability to deliver effective care. Prior experience working with
students who have diverse needs—including those with developmental
delays or neurological conditions—is preferred. Ability to
communicate complex concepts clearly to children, families,
educators, and healthcare teams is vital for fostering
