Required Skills: Valid and active California medical license California DEA certification Board Certified or Board Eligible within five years of residency Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR systems Strong clinical skills in pediatrics with the ability to manage diverse cases Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinic setting Nice to Have Skills: Bilingual in Spanish or other languages highly preferred Familiarity with the High Desert area and its unique community needs Experience working in high-volume or socioeconomically challenged environments Previous locum or temporary assignment experience Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Residency training in Pediatrics At least 2 years of pediatric clinical experience post-residency Other Requirements: Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with flexibility for scheduled lunch breaks Must submit necessary documentation for payor credentialing (e.g., driver’s license, social security card, medical board certificates, DEA, malpractice insurance) to facilitate onboarding No privileges required; immediate start after access setup Travel requirements to be specified in your application; local candidates preferred but all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply This is a compelling opportunity to serve a vital community while advancing your career.
