Job Description Job Description Job Title: HR Assistant - Construction (Temp-to-Hire) Location: Pasadena, CA Work Type: Onsite Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday Pay Rate: $20-$25 per hour (based on experience) Job Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support a construction company in an onsite, temp-to-hire role in Pasadena. This position provides administrative and operational support to the HR team, with a strong focus on construction workforce needs, compliance, and employee documentation. Responsibilities Assist with onboarding and offboarding of construction field and office employees Maintain employee personnel files, certifications, and compliance documentation Support payroll, timekeeping, and benefits administration for hourly employees Track licenses, safety training, and required construction certifications Schedule interviews and coordinate new hire paperwork Respond to employee HR inquiries and provide general support Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance related to labor regulations Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed Qualifications Previous HR or administrative experience required; construction industry experience strongly preferred Familiarity with hourly workforce, timecards, and labor compliance Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work onsite in Pasadena What We Offer $20-$25/hour pay range Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential Full-time, consistent schedule Hands-on HR experience within the construction industry Onsite role in Pasadena How to Apply Interested candidates should apply with an updated resume.
