SWHS consists of two acute-care hospitals: Inland Valley Medical
Center and Rancho Springs Medical Center.
Inland Valley Medical Center
A 122 bed acute care hospital which features the regions only
Level II Trauma Unit and is the county-designated Paramedical Base
station and Southwest Riverside County's only Center of Excellence
in Weight Loss Surgery.
Rancho Springs Medical Center
A 120 bed acute care hospital which includes the region's
largest birthing center along with the area's only NICU in
combination with Rady Children's Hospital and the region's first da
Vinci Robotic Surgical Program.

upon the current menu of services provided at SWHCS.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years supervisory or management experience in a
medically related Department.
Minimum 5 years Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
Minimum 5 years acute care experience
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Associates Degree required, Bachelors Degree preferred.
Graduate of a COARC approved Respiratory Therapy Program
REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Current RCP license from the State of California required.
Current BLS required
Current ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
Current NRP required within 30 days of hire
Current PALS required within 30 days of hire.
Busy environment with shifting and evolving priorities.
Subject to varying and unpredictable situations.
Occasional pressure due to multiple calls, inquires and

Moderate to Highly stressful environment, dependant on patient
load and physician requests.
Multi-site responsibilities may be required.
