The Material Management Manager oversee the intake and
distribution of all components and materials used by the hospital.
He/she maintains inventory and par levels to meet demand. Oversees
purchasing, shipping, receiving, distribution, and inventory
control of supplies hospital-wide. Communicate out of stock,
recalls and product changes to avoid delays in patient care of
departmental productivity. He/she manages the day to day department
operations, including staffing, customer service, and supply chain

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5-years' experience in an acute care, healthcare
materials management role (e.g., supplies, food, equipment,
pharmaceuticals, etc.) required.
Minimum of 2-years in a leadership role.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
required. Associates degree with five (5) years direct experience
may be accepted in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP)
Office, warehouse or storeroom setting.
