Job Description:

Job Description The Program Director is responsible for the management of the Opioid Treatment Programs daily operations to ensure compliance with SAMHSA, DEA, DHCS, Title 9, Title 22, and all other rules and regulations. The Program Director is also responsible for directing program operations to achieve strategic goals as set forth by the organization. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure Programs compliance with all legal, regulatory, contractual, and accreditation requirements Implement organizations business goals and budgetary objectives Direct the daily activities of program staff including work assignments and workloads Provide day to day supervision, support, and clinical oversight for all program staff Evaluate staff skills and performance and identifies ways to improve and develop staff Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures Develop and foster professional working relationships with other providers and community groups to improve patient care and community buy in Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment for both program staff and patients Complete psycho-social assessment, treatment plans and counseling session, and provide case consultation as needed Comply with organizations Personnel Code of Conduct and ensure all services are performed in accordance with the organizations mission and values. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Excellent customer service and phone etiquette Excellent leadership skill and problem-solving abilities Effective communication skills Excellent documentation skills Experience and training in crisis intervention and emergency situations Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines Ability to analyze, evaluate, and recommend/implement workflow changes to improve the functioning of program Ability to assess and understand the legal and regulatory requirements. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Demonstrate awareness and value of cultural competence 5 years of supervisory experience with knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to substance use disorder treatment. Knowledge of medication assisted treatment preferred. Education Bachelors or Masters. In related field preferred. Current CPR certification Certification with a Certified Board of Chemical Dependency Counselors Physical Requirements Stand or Sit: Constantly sits in an office chair. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time. Walk: Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, attend outside meetings, etc. Use of hands & fingers: Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a copy machine and printers. Repetitive movements of hand and fingers for typing and writing. Talk or Hear: Constantly communicates with patients and staff. Must be able to express oneself and exchange accurate information in these situations. See: Must be able to visually identify, observe and assess. Reaching or Lifting: Seldom reaching for or lifting of items in storage locations, such as copying paper, files, office supplies, etc. Neck Motion: Frequent movement while performing all duties as described above.
