Job Description:

Workway is a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. We are looking for anEscrow Assistantresponsible for assisting with operations, customer record management, data entry, daily account reconciliation, customer service and more.

Your specific duties will include:

• 
  
• Process Escrow paperwork associated with a sale and refinance escrows. Opening and Closing Packages.
  
• Handle bank deposits, support account reconciliation and bookkeeping procedures.
  
• Balance files and issue final closing packages.
  
• Handling funding conditions for lenders.
  
• Reviewing preliminary title reports and clearing outstanding items.
  
• Ordering Homeowner's Association documents.
  
• Typing escrow instructions and amendments for sale and refinance escrows.
  
• Preparing Grant Deeds, Subordination Agreements and other recordable documents necessary for closing.
  
• Manage correspondence and mail (phone calls inbound and outbound, emails, letters, packages and deliveries incoming and outgoing).
  
  Specific qualifications for the position include:
  
  
  • 
    
  • 2 years proven experience as an escrow assistant with the same organization. DFPI escrow experience a plus.
    
  • Outstanding verbal and interpersonal skills
    
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
    
  • Excellent computer skills (E-mail, Word, Excel, etc.). Streamline/Green Folder Escrow Software experience a plus.Must be able to quickly adapt to electronic filing if current experience is not in practice.
