Job DescriptionJob Summary

• Controls assembly and panel building for automated machinery.
• Assembly will include electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics of various schematics as required by each automated machine.Essential Job Functions
  • Reads and understands schematic diagrams.
  • Lays out machines for best practices, efficiency and cost.
  • Utilizes knowledge of electrical wiring standards.
  • Debugs systems with mechanical assembly and controls engineers.
  • Uses analytical thinking to understand the controls assembly and end-product assembly processes.
  • Must speak English (Spanish is a plus!).
  • Keeps work area clean in appearance.
  • Willing to engage in ongoing education and is interested in continuous improvement.
  • creates reports as directed by assembly foreman.
  • Familiar with Programmable Logic Controller panelsQualifications
    • Must have high school diploma or G.E.D. with some electrical training.
    • Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in the automation or maintenance industry.
    • Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in wiring control panels (panel building).
    • Preferably, has the ability to read pneumatics, hydraulic and electrical drawings and schematics.
    • Must possess the required tools.
    • Must be able to lift 40 pounds properly.
    • Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
    • Must possess quality communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Must be able to work well with minimal supervision.
    • Must demonstrate respect for peers, subordinates, supervisors and customers.
    • Must be able to understand and follow instructions.
    • Must fully understand and adhere to maintenance, safety, and quality processes and procedures.
    • Must be able to maintain a good attendance record.
    • Prefer the ability to download and debug PLC programming along with troubleshooting systems.Benefits
